CITY BEAUTIFUL COMMISSION:
The role of the City Beautiful Commission is to study, promote, aid, and implement steps to improve the appearance and quality of the environment in Paragould. Members are appointed by the Mayor to three-year terms, and make their recommendations about city improvements to the City Council. Meets on the last Thursday of each month at 5 p.m.

AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD:
Members of the Airport Advisory Board are appointed by the Mayor to five-year terms. The Airport Commission meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7 a.m.

PARAGOULD LIGHT WATER AND CABLE:
Paragould Light Water & Cable is governed by a five-member body of commissioners. Paragould Light Water & Cable Board meetings are held at the Distribution Center at 1901 Jones Road. Regular meetings are on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7 a.m. The meetings are open to the public and are broadcast live on cable channel 6.

PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD:
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board advises the City Council on matters concerning Paragould’s parks and encourages the development of the Paragould Parks and Recreation system. Members are appointed by the City Council to three-year terms. Meets on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. at the Community Center, 3404 Linwood Drive. PARAGOULD PLANNING COMMISSION:
Members of the Paragould Planning Commission work on planning and development of the city, with special attention to issues such as water and sewage, fire hazard prevention, and promotion of public health. They are appointed to three-year terms by the Mayor.
Meets the 1st Thursday night of each month at 5:30 p.m. in the council meeting room at City Hall, located at 301 W. Court St. Paperwork must be in the hands of the Commissioners, City Inspectors, Secretary, and City Clerk by Friday before the meeting on Thursday. All fees must be paid to the City Clerk by the Friday before the meeting on Thursday.
