The landlords and homeowners that have abandoned/neglected properties should be given hefty fines for not doing anything to repair or clean up their property. They seem to be privileged and unscathed from the law. They have no pride, they don't care. Warnings in the mail, if issued, are not enough. Let's make it a serious offense. Paragould is a very nice place, why have nasty dirty neglected properties? I say find the land owners and if they don't act within 10 days of notice, fines are issued. Per square foot. If not paid, warrants are issued.
